The conference was conducted with the following objectives in mind:

• Creating a shared vision as guiding principle for joint efforts in ICT for the sector.

• Defining interventions and measures, owned by all stakeholders, to further strengthen ICT development .

• Generating awareness and understanding by broad stakeholder interaction.

The Expected Outputs:

• Draft vision on ICT initiatives for the sector.

• Agreed interventions / measures to further strengthen ICT development.

• Increased awareness and mutual understanding among stakeholders .
