The outcome of the conference was consensus among all participants on a variety of themes, which were deemed to be most critical for development of ICT for Higher Education. Vision was built on the Management of ICT resources, on E-library, on Infrastructure, on E-education, on ICT for educational quality, on ICT curriculum development, on Government involvement, on Management information systems and on Private sector cooperation.

Participants finally generated some strategies and initial ideas for actions which could be considered in realizing the common ground.

The results of this Future Search are instrumental in the formulation of an update to the current policy paper for ICT in Higher Education. Another document will also be created, this document will describe the role and responsibilities that the Jordanian Universities Network (JUNet) should take to participate in implementing this policy.
